Pitchperfect week 20: Summer Rain (original song)
I wrote this during the thick of thunderstorm season here in the Pacific Northwest — mid August — following an exciting night of laying out in the yard with my husband, watching the lightning show pass to either side of us. I wanted to expand my fingerpicking ability, and chose to write it into the song for practice.
