¡Hola, Hola! Mis queridos Steemians.

¿Cómo están? Espero que tengan una semana fluida y sabrosa. La mía lo es, a su manera.

Ayer en la noche me fui a la cama con el alma opaca. Volví a escuchar un “me voy”, este es apenas el 3ero de mis familiares y no se puede evitar esa tristeza porque como le comentaba, no es lo mismo saber que están allí a unos minutos y cuanto máximo a unas horas a saber que hay fronteras de distancia.

Esa opacidad surge por la incertidumbre de lo que sucederá y por los recuerdos que rasguñan la piel.

¿Se han preguntado si están siendo cobardes?

En líneas generales me considero una persona valiente, sin embargo, cuando miro a los alrededores mientras las luces se apagan y el silencio llega vuelvo a preguntarme si solo estoy siendo cobarde.

Más allá del luto que trae la ausencia, los pensamientos que llegan a nuestra mente a veces pesan.

Ayer decidí dormir, llena de ansiedad aprendí a postergar estas emociones. Al despertar no pude evitar preguntar:

¿Qué hago?

Aún con el alma un poco arrugada y el cabello despeinado recordé que no todos somos la misma historia, que yo había tomado una decisión y que, eso también es valentía.

Que se arruinen los canales de noticia, con lo mucho que odio la televisión. Que se vuelvan anticuadas las sonrisas y se extingan todas las puestas de sol. Que se supriman las doctrinas y deberes, que se terminen las películas de acción. Que se destruyan en el mundo los placeres y que se escriba hoy una última canción pero, que me quedes tú. La magia sucedió porque luego de mis dudas y nostalgia miles de ideas cayeron como estrellas. Quise hacer un homenaje, quise llevar el duelo que dejó este espacio vacío como mejor sé hacerlo y aquí los resultados.

“Que me quedes tú” es la cuarta canción del álbum “Servicio de Lavandería” de la colombiana Shakira. Escrita por ella y musicalizada en conjunto con Luis F. Ochoa. Fue lanzado como sencillo el 1 de diciembre del año 2002.

No imagino nada más apropiado para esta ocasión, aunque esté en un contexto distinto. Próximamente estaré de cumpleaños y coincide con la fecha de su lanzamiento, este es un número intimidante y por causalidades o casualidades inaugura este set previo a la fecha. Vuelvo a creer que todo es perfecto.

Que desaparezcan todos los vecinos y se coman todas las sobras de mi inocencia. Que se vayan uno a uno los amigos y acribillen mi pedazo de conciencia. Que se consuman las palabras en los labios, que contaminen todo el agua del planeta o que renuncien los filántropos y sabios, y que se muera hoy hasta el último poeta pero que me quedes tú.Que me quedes tú – Shakira

Debido a la carga emocional generada por todo lo antes mencionado me atreví a experimentar un poco más con la grabación, la edición y en un ambiente rústico que reflejara lo que somos cuando estamos opacos. He quedado satisfecha. Espero que lo disfruten.

How's it going? I hope you have a good and excellent week. Mine is, in her own way.

Last night I went to bed with an opaque soul. I heard a cousin say to me again "I'm leaving the country", this is just the 3rd of my relatives and you cannot avoid that sadness because as I said, it is not the same to know that they are there a few minutes and at most a few hours to know that there are borders away.

That opacity arises from the uncertainty of what will happen and from the memories that scratch the skin.

Have you ever wondered if you are acting like cowards?

In general I consider myself a brave person; however, when I look around while the lights go out and the silence arrives I ask myself again if I am just being a coward.

Beyond the mourning that absence brings, the thoughts that come to our mind sometimes weigh.

Yesterday I decided to sleep, full of anxiety I learned to postpone these emotions. When I woke up I couldn't help but ask:

What do I do?

Even with a slightly wrinkled soul and disheveled hair, I remembered that not all of us will tell the same story that I had made a decision, and that, too, is courage.

Let the news station channels fall to ruins, I don't like television anyway. Let smiles become ancient relics, and let all the rays of sunlight be extinguished. Let doctrines and obligations rise over us, let all action movies come to an end, Let in the world, pleasures be destroyed and let today, the last song be written but as long as I have you. “As long as I have you" - Shakira.

The magic happened because after my doubts and nostalgia thousands of ideas fell like stars. I wanted to make a tribute; I wanted to take the mourning that left this empty space as best I know how to do it and here the results.

“As Long As I have you" is the fourth song from the album "Laundry Service" by Colombian Shakira. Written by her and set to music with Luis F. Ochoa. It was released as a single on December 1, 2002.

I can't imagine anything more appropriate for this occasion, even if it's in a different context. Coming soon I will be birthday and coincides with the date of its release; this is an intimidating number and happens to inaugurate this set prior to the date. I believe again that everything is perfect.

Let all neighbors disappear and let them eat the leftovers of my innocence. Let friends leave, one by one and let them kill my share of conscience. Due to the emotional charge generated by all of the above I dared to experiment a little more with recording, editing and in a rustic environment that reflected who we are when we are opaque. I am satisfied. I hope you enjoy it.
