More often than not, mixed breeds come from purebred ancestors between two different types of dogs such as a male Pit Bull Terrier and a female German Shepherd Dog or another type of mutt such as a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle.
There are some characteristics from each of the parents that may be passed down to their offspring though, so for this particular litter it is more than likely they will have a double coat or dark patch of fur on their back which means they will have a tough time shedding making them a relatively low-maintenance dog. According to animal experts there are four types of temperaments that can be passed down from generation to generation which include: dominant, submissive, shy and outgoing. The dominant temperament usually gives the dog a more territorial instinct making them wary of new people while the submissive one usually makes the dog more likely to greet strangers.
