Our SAR9CXPT – sar9x platinum Compact, sar9x platinum Body, PLATINUM Slide, 9mm, 15 have the lockable box also has a ton of goodies, including a hard-shell polymer holster with cant adjustment and a retention button that can be readily reached with the forefinger to start the draw. Either a belt or paddle can be used to wear the holster. Two additional magazines can be carried in a hard-shell polymer paddle carrier. The amount of tension on the magazines and cant are both adjustable. Magazines move into and out of the magazine carrier easily, even with a relatively heavy strain. The grip can be adjusted for breadth and length with two extra backstraps and four extra side panels. The only equipment required to make these holster and grip adjustments is a hammer to pry out the grip pin.

There is a lovely red mop available to make cleaning easier. The torch for the frame's forward auxiliary rail is last but certainly not least. One CR123 battery, which is not included, powers the powerful concentrated beam of light. The switch is on the left, thus turning the light on or off only requires a quick flick of the left forefinger back in your direction. The light enters strobe mode if you turn it on, turn it off, and turn it back on. To slide the light on, pull down the elegantly scalloped tabs on either side of the lamp. When utilizing the supplied rig, removal is just as simple, however, the light must be taken out before holstering. No different, the Platinum 9X felt fantastic right out of the box. A "flipper" safety in the middle of the trigger is a modern standard for striker-fired handguns.
