#PiratePistolProject : First inlay attempt - initial rough in

After playing with the placement a bit, and coming to terms with the limitations on detail, I set into carving and filling the inlay. The eventual outcome will be a Jolly Roger, but for now I'm focused on just the skull.

By the time I get home from work tomorrow, the epoxy will be dry and ready for finishing and polishing. Then I can set the stones for the eye and patch (sapphire eye, ruby patch) and put in the crossbone inlays.

With any luck I'll have a finished gun by the weekend to show off at the range.
