"Pinned Post" - New Feature for steemit.com?

Apparently there is a new way to pin post on the Trending list and even on your OWN FEED. Interesting. Works also if you havent subscribed to @ned. Was this implemented with HF20 or is this only a part of the website? Steempeak DOES NOT show any pinned Posts by Ned.
