That seems like a good plan. i would also suggest to maybe pick an area to focus on rather than just random postings. Something that gets a repeat following for your insights on a subject. Most of the successful authors have a certain area they focus on and share their experience or expertise about it.

Fair enough, choose a niche and stick with it. This is why you see people creating multiple accounts for each category, one for sports, one for games, etc.
