Aristotelian thinking about science

His thinking about the grouping of knowledge

Aristotle classified science into three groups, namely:

• practical science (ethics and politics);

• Productive science (technique and art);

• Theoretical knowledge (physics, mathematics, metaphysics).

Metaphysics is one branch of Philosophy that studies and understands the causes of things so that certain things come into being.
Actually the discipline of metaphysical philosophy has begun since the time of the Greek kuo. Starting from the philosophers of nature to Aristotle (284-322 BC). Aristotle himself never used the term metaphysics. Aristotle calls something that examines the things beyond physics as the first philosophy (prote philosophia) to distinguish it from the second philosophy of discipline that examines the things that are physics.

Metaphysics comes from the Greek ta meta ta physica which means "that comes after physics"
Metaphysics is often referred to as a discipline of complicated philosophy and requires a very high abstraction (like a student to study it consuming thousands of tons of rice), metaphysics requires enormous intellectual energy that makes not everyone interested in it.

Its relationship to the theory of communication, metaphysics is related to the following matters:

1. Human nature and its relationship contextually and individually with reality in the universe;
2. Nature and facts for purpose, behavior, causes, and rules;
3. Problem choice, especially freedom versus determinism on human behavior.
