PHP Data Types - Array

In this lesson "PHP Data Types - Array", I discussed about the PHP Array Type, which is a data structure that contains group of elements. In simple words, Array allows storing multiple values in single variable.

In PHP, Arrays are very important. In PHP, It is an ordered map that associates values to keys. This type is optimized for several different uses; it can be treated as an array, list (vector), hash table (an implementation of a map), dictionary, collection, stack, queue, and much more.

The Array topic is not fully covered in this lessons. This topic will be discussed in details in coming lessons soon.
