I only shoot jpegs but I hear that it is always best to shoot RAW. I do not do editing on my photos and just post them straight from the camera. Unless there are some details I want to take out. Eventually I would need to learn more and shoot raw when the time comes.
JPEG is totally fine if you don't edit your pics or make large prints....
