This photograph shows the ancestor of many dog breeds - this is a polar wolf. I took this photo when the wolf did a warm-up after a long sleep. This wolf is one of the pets of the zoological park of the city of Rivne, Ukraine.
I had to wait a while. I found the wolf sleeping. When he got to his feet, I caught him in the camera lens. The picture was taken 05.31.2013.

Absolutely stunning photo of a wolf, looks like a hole next to him may have been where it slept overnight. Thanks for sharing this unique dog, yes we have changed and altered them, to see an original you are lucky @barski
Thank you very much @joanstewart ! You are absolutely right. In this pit the wolf slept. On this day it was very hot. Wolf dug a hole for himself, it was cooler there.
