Teacher's Day Celebration at Our School

Every November 25, we celebrate teacher's day. The Indonesian government has set November 25 as the Commemoration of National Teacher's Day. Why was this date chosen to commemorate National Teacher's Day? On November 25, a teacher organization, the Teachers Association of the Republic of Indonesia (which was established on November 25, 1945) was also inaugurated.

There are many activities in the school to celebrate teacher's day. However, the main agenda of the teacher's day celebration is the flag ceremony which is attended by all teachers and students. In this flag ceremony, a written message will also be read from the Indonesian Minister of Education.

After listening to the message from the Indonesian Minister of Education, we released balloons into the air as a symbol to achieve high expectations to realize good educational processes and outcomes.

Furthermore, some student representatives symbolically handed the cake to the school principal. It is in gratitude the students to the teachers.

Teachers also get a gift from the students. It was a surprise to us.
