Yah man I know the pain. When first starting out, being easy to work with can lead to partners taking advantage. I found out you STILL have to have those critical conversations before they become an issue, and immediately address scope creep or any other overages. If it is worth you doing, it is worth them paying. Tough lessons lead to better posture and cooperation the next go around.
