Seacoast Photographing Event
On Tuesday I went to a photographing event hosted by my uncle who is a professional photographer and Nikon head salesman in Estonia. The event main subject was light painting, means long exposure photographing. This was a light painting course for people. The main purpose was to show techniques and how to use the equipment. Also, there was a model hired who is actually a professional fire dancer so we could get some awesome shots out of her movements.
Originally my uncle asked me to come because he needed an assistant with some light equipment, but I still had time to take photos myself and I had another way to get photos while I was doing light stuff in the background, more of this in the next part of the post. I'm planning to do 3 more posts of this event.
Our original plan was to take long exposure photos next to and in the sea but we didn't get so lucky with the weather. The wind was very stongs, waves were huge and there was hardly sand part left due to water level rise. Despite the harsh weather conditions, we could at least get some portraits of the model and I could get some nice nature photos.
Model lighted of some torches and posed for us to take some shots. I'm pretty pleased with the results.
It was still bright outside so no long exposure ones in this post.
