You just hit the nail.. when pinterest started, it started off so well. i loved the site as it was in the earlier days, now it has turned from democracy to dictatorship. I think the main shift happened when they took in investors, in an attempt to impress the investors they end up screwing up the users, as they seriously diverted their focus from user to advertisers.
