Sunday Color Challenge Exhuberant Purple

I love color. All colors. And Purple is one of my favorites. So When i saw the color game, i found myself scrolling thru fotos and seeing purple! Not all of the fotos show up in the post. I hope you'll click on them too as they are vibrating PURPLE> !!

Just like the foto of javoticaba fruits, you saw them if you clicked the pics. They are such a deep purple and make the most incredible homemade grape juice ever. I did cook them down a few weeks ago as I adore gathering and storing and using the abundance of the land. You will also see hydrangeas from Costa Rica, irises from Louisiana, my own little purple legs ( I am known for my crazy knee socks around here which are necessary to keep the critters off while im out in the forest and field).

Plus I share some purple violets as soft as velvet and growing in the dark shade of the rainforest. And check out the several different kinds of orchids. Even a purple sunset!

I pay attention to colors especially as they relate to the chakras. I have been seeing purple a good bit in my yoga practice lately turning into that royal blue and it makes me happy. I used to not see these colors as much. For me, it it means i am more open in my voice chakra, I am speaking my truth more easily, being with the part of my voice that i don't always express. I think learning to speak up for my boundaries along the way, instead of letting all of the little things go all of the time, helps me to avoid an explosion of purple communication in the negative too, let's say. For duality is just part of our human existence. And finding the balance is key, i humbly think. SO purple also reminds to watch the throat chakra, the communication and discern when NOT to communicate. When is it better to totally let something go. Sometimes remaining silent is indeed the best use of the throat chakra, the voice, communication. I am working on mastering this aspect of communication too. It is not easy and well, as you do too, I get to practice a lot.

Purple musings for me would never be complete without honoring Prince, who I miss his presence on the planet making us music. But we have a lot of good stuff he left us... some sweet stuff to to muse to on a purple kind of day!
