In Midland Michigan the best tradition for late summer is to take in a baseball game with your family. This kid friendly environment comes with promotions nearly every game and fireworks. It is a pristine ball park with great food. I highly recommend the nachos.

What I also give a nod to is the way the mascots, Lou E. and Rally Camel, make each child feel like they are a celebrity. This is Evelyn heading out for the seventh-inning-stretch to join in a round of Take Me Out to the Ball Game. She is all dressed up for Star Wars Day. Her smile says it all.
