Turkey-Nemrut Antique City Landscapes
Mount Nemrut (2552m) is located in southeastern Turkey, 87 km from Adıyaman, and is part of the Taurus Mountain range, above the Euphrates River valley.
The sanctuary at the top of Mount Nemrut was built by Antiochos I for himself as a funerary monument
The Commagene have been described as a semi-Iranian people that practiced the Zoroastrian faith and worshiped gods with combined Eastern and Western names like Zeus-Orimasdes and Apollo-Mithras
The area is under snow for several months a year and so the statues have naturally weathered too, making it difficult to ascertain when injury came to the gods of Mount Nemrut

En çok gitmek istediğim yerler listesinde şuan burası bir numara. Kiliste oturuyorum ve oldukça yakın bize ( yani bence yakın). Haziran temmuz gibi inşallah gideceğim. Bu tarihten önce hava çok soğuk oluyormuş. Bir de geceden gidip sabah gün doğumunu orada izlemek gerekirmiş.
Umarım dediğin gibi gidip görürsün .Aynen sabah gün dogumunu görmek gerek orada.
