Is classic banner advertising effective today? #167
Throughout the city I see many banners with different advertisements. Most promote products from supermarkets and very few services in the city.Now that everyone has access to the internet and a smartphone, most people find out about new deals on the internet (Facebook, Instagram ..etc).There is no day not to see someone walking on the street and looking at the phone, even drivers do this when they are waiting for the traffic light.
I think the classic banner advertising works only for a certain category of people. People over the age of 60 get used to the technology harder and prefer to read newspapers and offers.
But after the old generation is gone, I do not know if the classic advertising will be used, especially as the technology will evolve a lot.
