Sweet lady (or fella) I met in Colorado many years ago.
(S)he was bold – likely hungry – delicately stepping to within 5 feet of me – clearly inviting an intimate portrait.
I was charmed, naturally...how could I not be by such a foxy little cutie?

nice fox photo, how close were you? I have seen foxes in central London and here in Lobitos, Peru (desert).
I think only about 5 or 6 feet or so? This was maybe ten years ago, so my memory of details is admittedly fuzzy!
Aww! I have always wanted to meet a fox! Great shot! Were you scared at all? I know they're not top predators but they do have sharp teeth! :)
Good question! I wasn’t scared at all. She was cautiously bold yet still skittish and — I felt pretty sure — harmless.
