[Travel/Japan] Shodoshima小豆島 / Stroll through Angel Road -- 走過天使之路

Shodoshima in Japanese literally means Island of Small Beans. It is an island located at Kagawa Prefecture of Shikoku Japan. Shikoku is the smallest and probably the least traveled part of Japan, at least comparing to popular destinations like Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka but that doesn't mean it has less to offer. Unlike the urban scene that big cities offer, a trip to Shikoku will slow you down. You can go for

• a visit to Naoshima, the island filled with art museum and installation. It's known for permanent installation of Yayoi Kusama's pumpkin and architecture by  Tadao Andou. 
• a visit to Kotohira where you can learn how to make the tastiest udon at Kotohira Udon School. 
• a visit to Konpira-san, a shinto shrine that requires 1368 steps to reach. 
• Or a visit to Shodoshima, an island with great natural features and produces. 

Shodoshima日文直譯就是小豆島，是位於日本四國香川縣的一座小島。四國是日本本土四島裡最小的一座也大概是其中觀光客最少的，但這不代表他沒有什麼值得探索。比起向東京大阪這種大城市的熱鬧，探索四國走的是慢生活路線，你可以

• 去有名的文青島 - 直島看看各式裝置藝術和博物館，其中還包括早間彌生的南瓜和安藤忠雄設計的博物館與飯店。
• 去琴平的烏龍麵學校自己從桿麵開始做起烏龍麵。
• 去金刀比羅宮爬1368個台階參拜一下最頂端神社的本宮
• 或著到小豆島來看看難得一見的自然景觀和新鮮的農產品

Transportation 交通

We arrived by ferry (¥690) from Takamatsu (the capital of Shikoku). It took about 60 minutes. There's also a speed boat that will get you there in 30 minutes and cost ¥1,170.

從四國的首都高松花690日幣搭郵輪，路程大概是60分鐘。高松也有快艇的選擇，大概30分鐘就會到達小豆島，但是價格是日幣1170元

Stay 住

We stayed at the Shodoshima International hotel. They have rooms directly facing the famous Angel Road. Here's the view of our room. 

我們住在小豆島國際飯店，地理位置優越，直接面對有名的天使之路。

Angel road is a 500m long sandbar that only appears twice a day during low tides. It is the most popular destinations for couples because it is believe that couples who cross Angel Road together will live happily ever after. 

天使之路是一條500公尺長的沙灘小徑，每天只會浮出水面兩次，在退潮的時候才看得到。這條小徑是情侶們最喜害的景點，因為據說只要一起走過就能永遠幸福的在一起。

For lunch or dinner, I recommend Shodoshima Ramen Hishio, located five minutes away from Angel Road. If you're lucky, you get to have outdoor seats facing the ocean, like in this video!

在海邊玩累了的話，我推薦到附近的Hishio拉麵，從天使之路走路大概五分鐘。如果運氣好的話還可以做到戶外面向大海的座位!
