Interesting shot, especially the first one. But it looks like the tiny sensor on that smartphone is really struggling int he dark and there is a lot of noise in the second and third ones.

Yeah it really doesn't handle night shots too well. No matter what I try it always has noise (some more than others :/ ). Also noticed some dust or other artifact when zooming in.
Might be time for an upgrade soon!

Keep in mind that any contemporary smartphone is going to perform poorly in low light conditions. The sensors are too small, so it's hard to get enough light to hit them, so they can provide a high-quality shot.

If you want to be able to make high-quality shots, you have to look at DSLR or a mirrorless camera, but those are quite expensive and quite the commitment. Or you can keep shooting with your smartphone and avoid night shots.

After all, the quality of the image is not always the most important one, right?

Nice pictures, I'm following you now. :)

Here's a tip: Camera+ (paid app) allows you to control the exposure. That way instead of editing in post, you could use some stand to leave the iPhone still and crank the exposure up to 1/4 seconds or even more. For instance, i took this one with my iPhone 4s and 1/3 seconds exposure, would be better if I had my phone in some sort of stand instead of handheld

Ah that is an awesome tip @algarcia! Thank you :)
I shall give this a try and see what I can come up with.

Excellent pick you've added here too.
