Ice sculptures
A festival of ice sculptures was in the city this weekend . It is the true art - cut with ice such beautiful things. Too bad frost departed and it quickly melt. But they remain at these photographs.
Цими вихідними у місті проходив фестиваль льодових скульптур. Це справжнє мистецтво - вирізати з льоду такі прекрасні речі. Шкода, що мороз відступив і вони швидко розтануть. Але вони залишаться на цих світлинах.

Ice sculptures are amazing. Not only their shapes, but how light passes through them. And to think they are only water.

Nice photos. I think ice is hard to capture. Do you get to watch the artists carving their sculptures? Do you think they pour water into molds for some parts of their sculptures? Enjoy the cold! ; )
I did not see the whole process, but watched as they did using chainsaws
That would be something to see! Chainsaws would be fun to use on big blocks of ice, I bet! Stay warm in the winter!
