The eye is the window to the soul

I took this picture in Baja Mexico and found this bird sitting on the beach. Unfortunately it looked very sick due to a virus that was going around and causing a die off of this species in the area. I was not able to help it because it was in a very remote area and no way to help it but at least I was able to get this amazing picture of it.
