A Full Moon Peeking Through the Clouds in the Middle of Winter: Somewhere Outside Chicago...
I was at a small neighborhood bar in the suburbs of Chicago until closing, probably about 2am. It's a very short walk from home, less than a block. It was a cold and quiet night, but the full moon crept through an opening in the clouds and aligned itself perfectly behind this mischievous looking old oak tree. I had just enough time to snap a couple shots.
No filters were used, no editing has been done to this photo - just a lot of screen-tapping before the shot to get the proper focus and contrast I was looking for. Taken with a 3-year old iPhone Special Edition.
It looks like a good photo to accompany an Edgar Allen Poe story, doesn't it?
