Swapmeet Finds #3272

I think we have some kind of focusing "issue" in this photo from September 1968. Either that, or a perfect picture of the Adams Brooks BUTTER TOFFEE NUTS stand was RUINED by some kind of royalty driving by, right in front of it! :-)

Actually, that Adams Brooks stand was enough of a clue to track this location down. That particular stand was on the Pomona Fairgrounds. So this must be the Los Angeles County Fair of 1968. And I'll bet that's the Queen of the fair (whoever she was) cruising by and waving to the peasants!

Sadly, that stand apparently vanished a decade ago (2008). At least that's according to this article (with a picture from the article):
