Ancient tree

So I am working in Cape Town, and found this tree in the backyard of a private residence. This tree must be a few Hundred years old. It's shear size is staggering. Anyone knows what tree this is ?

    Beautiful tree. It is not easy the identification with this photo, but it remember to me an oak, Quercus robur. What do you think?.
