One of the first dSLR photos I ever took, Oct 2003.
I took this on 10/10/2003 just following the delivery of my very first dSLR, a Canon EOS 300D (aka the 1st Gen Digital Rebel). I remember how blown away I was about shooting 6.3 megapixels in an SLR form factor after having shot the previous 4 years all in film. It gave me a weird sense of freedom knowing that not only was I able to shoot basically as much I wanted and see what I was getting instantly, but I was also excited that I no longer had to scan prints to get images on the computer. It's amazing how far we've come even just since then.
On my birthday!
Seems like a million years since 6.3 megapixels.
