Pymatuning Lake Park - Pennsylvania Beauty Abounds!
Welcome to Pymatuning Lake State Park
Northwestern Pennsylvania has a rich store of natural and made made lakes. Yesterday my son and a friend went fishing on the Pymatuning Lake. This gorgeous lake is a twenty minute drive from my home in Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania. Surrounding the lake is a state preservation. Pymatuning Lake Park which attracts many visitors and is situated near Andover, Ohio.
Here are details about the park.
The park is perfect for hiking, swimming, camping, boating and photography, in addition to fishing the finest walleye and muskellunge in Pennsylvania. Cabins are available to rent and there is also areas to hunt in. Whole communities are surrounding the lake to get the most of all it has to offer.
I enjoy the well kept nature trails and museum. As a child, my parents brought me and my siblings to the spillway where huge carp mill near the road. We purchased bread to feed them and the ducks who walked on their backs. It's an amazing site and facinating for children and adults. I go visit as often as I am able.

** Huge water lilies dot the lake. This is a hearty flower and withstands Pennsylvania's freezing winters. A lily sheds it's petals in three days and spreads. quickly.**

They did a great job and you can take credit for writing an amazing piece displaying their photography. :) Are you going to be able to do the muxxy and shane show next week?
That looks so beautiful. The driftwood is amazing. One could imagine a wood carver having a field day with those.

The driftwood makes me want to collect them for making coals LOL
Beautiful water Lily flowers I wonder if their seed pod can be eaten like the lotus.
Hi @cryptopie! Yes, I read that about the seeds. There are tons there!
We call our water hyacinth here water lily's, only to discover them to be a hycinth, not lilys but they too make some good flowers but with no seeds.
Great Post , is very beautiful
