Well Well Well I guess you might refer to the pic below that is a true discover for you! If you have some times, I will tell you all in details about this analog creative and poetic picture (0% photoshop) and show you many pictures made with my lovely Tortuga 5. Are you ready?
(Hey hey, je suppose que vous me parlez de la photo en dessous car vous n'avez jamais vu de photo pareille! Si vous avez un peu de temps, je vais tout vous raconter en détail sur cette photo argentique faite avec 0% de photoshop et vous montrer plein d'exemples que j'ai réalisé avec mon adorable Tortuga 5. Prêt?)

This picture was realized in august 2014 in Cadaques (Spain), the famous Dali City! This pure analog photography made with Kodak Portra Film has been realized with a very strange camera called TORTUGA 5. Based on a 5 pineholes (a little hole, no lens and just film) round circle box (360°), this hand made camera looks like the picture below.

To sum up the technical side of my post, the film (medium format) is rolled over the white part and it is exposed with the 5 pineholes. You can shoot all of them at the same time or separately (which is my recommandation as you can write a deep story like my first pic. I noticed that it was hard to have an intersting result with opening the 5 holes at the same time, because it is not a full 360° panoramic! Look at the scheme below to understand.
(Pour faire bref sur le plan technique, le film (moyen format) est enroulé sur la bobine blanche et est exposé par 5 trous (sténopés). On peut soit ouvrir les 5 en même temps soit un par un qui a ma préférence car cela permet de raconter une histoire avec une profondeur. Ce que j'ai constaté, c'est qu'il est rare d'avoir des résultats intéressants avec les 5 trous ouverts d'un coup car c'est un faux panoramique à 360°! Le schéma dessous devrait vous aider à comprendre.)

Each image is reversed by the way, so each time you open one hole, you have to take into account while creating your composition and always remind that unlike digital you do not see the result!!! It's now time to play with it and enter in a fourth dimension : LET'GO AND DREAM FOLKS!
(Chaque image est inversée, et donc à chaque prise de vue, il faut l'intégrer dans la composition (j'avoue je me suis loupé une ou deux fois) et prendre en compte que contrairement au numérique, on ne voit pas le résultat instantanément! Allez assez pour la technique, allons dans la 4ème dimension : PLACE AU REVE!)

One more thing : I see some of you wondering if selfportrait is possible? Selfies are popular nowadays and for sure you can do it with a tortuga 5... ahahahaha
(Une dernière chose: peut-on faire un selfie avec le tortuga 5? Mais bien sûr! C'est même à la mode ahahahaha)

Hope my post has some interest for you! But for sure, I am not a magician, just a photographer with lots of poetry in my mind and a wide sense of humour...
