The place from where everything has begun..

Hi, everybody.
This time I decided to tell you about the place where I was born and grew up, and also to show beauty of the nature of Yakutia.

I from Russia. I was born in the city of Neryungri which is located in the south of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) on Aldan Mountains.

The area of the territory of Neryungrinsky district makes 98,8 thousand square kilometers.
South Yakutia is the territory consisting of a number of ridges, plateaus, mountain hollows with quite difficult geological history. Here mid-mountain and mountain landscapes with fluctuation of heights from 650 to 2420 meters above sea level prevail. Her most part is occupied with Aldan Mountains which height fluctuates within 800-1200 meters above sea level.

The climate of the southern part of Yakutia where the territory of Neryungrinsky district is located, is defined by a mountainous terrain and interaction of weather-forming processes and is characterized as moderately continental.

One of characteristics of a natural landscape of all territory of Yakutia is the permafrost which in many respects defines all her internal shape, including also the region of South Yakutia. Depth of winter frost penetration, as well as thawing, fluctuates from 0,3 to 4 meters and depends on structure of vegetation, humidity, a relief, absolute height of the district.

Neryungrinsky district is poetically called "a taiga pearl". And it isn't casual, here industrial scope, the developed infrastructure and the untouched wild nature wonderfully are combined.

With opening at the beginning of the 20th century of the gold mines in the south of Yakutia industrial development of the territory has begun. Gold mining on Aldan was a basis of construction of the federal highway from Big Never to Nizhny Bestyakh.

Points for rest, transshipment terminals were naturally necessary. They were equipped in Mountain, Hatymi, Chulman. And the transport infrastructure has in turn allowed to begin deep geological researches in spurs of Stanovoy Range. Construction of the Southern Yakut territorial and industrial complex near the reconnoitered coal fields with multimillion reserves of the coked and steam coal became the main result of work of geologists.

For short term in a remote taiga, the handsome city of Neryungri, the settlement of power engineering specialists Silver Bor, railway stations of Berkakit have grown, Hani and Goldberry whose inhabitants and adequately keep today the labor watch, providing activity of all area.
Settling down it is close to the Trans-Siberian railway line and the ports of the Sea of Okhotsk, Neryungrinsky district holds exclusively advantageous geographical position. Through his territory there passes the highway M – 56 "Lena" of republican value, in the item Chulman is located one of the airports, largest in Yakutia.

The main richness of Neryungrinsky district are people, talented, hardworking which keep and increase nice traditions of the predecessors, reaching inspiration and a constructive labor of impressive progress for the good of prosperity of the native land.

Subsoil of our earth conceals in themselves unique reserves of coal, iron ores, uranium, gold, apatites, hydrocarbons, rare-earth metals, all and not to count. Our area and surprisingly beautiful natural places is famous: the purest lakes and tremendous cascades of falls. The taimen, a grayling, a lenok are found in the mountain rivers of Neryungrinsky district the tsar fish, and in a taiga jungle easily it is possible to meet sokhaty and a bear.

Neryungrinsky district and in the development plan for tourism is interesting. Mountain skiing and rafting on the mountain rivers enjoy wide popularity. The salutary force of mineral waters of a unique thermal source of "Nakhot" is well-known not only in the republic, but also in all territory of the Far East. Our area becomes more and more attractive to full cooperation including international.
