Thank you! Yes, the grotto picture is still way up there for me - simply because it was so perfect and there are few pictures on the internet of this particular grotto anyway.

Beautiful! You have great skill, even if your camera is not quite up to par... I understand completely, as I only have my Samsung phone. One day Im getting a good camera, one day... ;)
Thank you. I remember very well the day that I finally decided to get myself a good camera. Sure, it wasn't an expensive model, but it was an entry-level semi-pro DSLR. I used it heavily until it started developing use-related problems. It then became a training camera for my son when I got my new camera - that I didn't like as much, lol.
lol! Sounds about right! Im saving now to get a good camera. I was hoping to use some Steemit earnings to purchase... Im very slowly but surely getting there. And one day in the next 2 years I may have enough!
Nice shot! I remember struggling to take a shot of the US flag in the Buffalo border in a winter day. Minus 30 degrees outside and windy. My camera adjusted the focus once, twice and then the battery died because of the cold.
I was looking at posting my US and Canadian flag photo from Spokane, but I just couldn't get the focus where I wanted it...
