Sunflower Decorated Sugar Cookies V's Sweets

I made these cookies for a high school graduation celebration! Who doesn't love sunflowers?

These beautiful flowers with sunflower seeds are grown all over California in large crops off the Interstate 5.

This photograph I took awhile back inspired my sunflower decorated sugar cookies! I love sunflowers, and the field that I stopped at was just beautiful. Sunflowers, turn and all follow the sun, and also that is why they are usually all facing the same direction. They are amazing flowers, which also produces food.

I think sunflowers are bright and happy and represent summer and all the good things that come with it! But also they represent a bright future for the young lady I made them for!
