Tour and tasting at the royal wine hut

The wine hut "Kralska vienna kashta" is located in the summer residence of the Romanian queen, whom the Bulgarians call the palace - "The Palace", in the villa "Prince Nikolai". By the way, this is one of the sons of the queen.

Excursion to this institution is completely free (included in the ticket price) with the expectation that you, having drunk, buy something from them. Although, I would not recommend.

For personally, I have big doubts about the originality of the products offered. I would be very happy if I am mistaken.

Everything happens very quickly: a girl in bad Russian quickly loads with incomprehensible information, then they quickly begin to pour three drops into plastic cups. Moreover, once in the same glass.

We had fun) The real tastings, of course, are not so.

The drinks are very aromatic and tasty. All have a taste of honey. And the "sommelier" reported this, however, she called this alcohol wine all the way, while this wine-based aperitif, that is, a flavored wine drink. It is tasty to drink, but it seems unreasonable to buy everything from them at a price of 15 euros per bottle. In a simple Bulgarian supermarket you can find about a dozen names of real wines, priced at up to 5 euros.

All Bulgarian wines are dry and therefore, for the Russian consumer, the taste is sour. To make their taste mild for tourists, honey is specially added to these wines. I do not like honey and especially its smell, my scent is like that of a dog, and I immediately determined its presence in the drinks with which we were treated.

We were offered the notorious "Snowy Wine" Santa Sarah, which is made of frost-bitten grapes. In the world it is called ice - Eiswein. Wine has a sweetish taste. They sell it for 120 lev a bottle (60 euros). They say there are only 30 bottles left, only 1000 were released and the price started from 49 leva (25 euros).

We were also given a chance to try "Solar Wine". Here we must immediately guess that this is the antithesis of Snow, but with the same sweet taste.

An interesting was a drink with the taste of amaretto and a rose wine. Sorry: rose wine aperitif. Here, I would really like to try this rose wine. Not in the sense of color, but in the sense of raw materials. I liked the drink myself.

Inside the hut are beautiful stands with bottles, including those with very old and dusty ones. Here lies not only the wine that we were given to sample - you can choose and buy any. You can pay as conveniently (from the card as well) and do not have to carry bags with bottles - they will bring them to the parking lot near the entrance to the park.

Thank you for your time and attention.
