Villages of France
Chassiers is a small village in south-eastern France, in the department of Ardèche in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alps region, between the rivers "Ligne" and "Landes".
The altitude varies from 200 to 605 meters, in a landscape of terraces, the last foothills of the southern Cévennes.
Many authentic hamlets surround the village with a rich heritage of remarkable monuments (church, castles, chapels, houses of Renaissance style, lanes and calades).
Its inhabitants are called Chassiérois.
