Mother nature fireworks

Here in Vancouver we rarely get lightening storms. This day one finally came, I took over 300 shots and caught this one right near the end of my shooting. This photo was in a contest for National Geographic Canada was 2nd place for over 6 months with nearly 20+ thousand votes, but unfortunately the panel who picked the best photo didnt care about how many votes or what place a photo was in.It was taken from the roof of my building in English Bay Vancouver
