Mantis
taken at Piper pan campsite Central Kalahari game reserve, Botswana March 2017
Mantis where quite usual in Kalahari. Came in the evening and sit on the car near light where there was plenty of insects and fed on them. You can find them in the morning in car or sitting on nearby tree.

Great photos. Praying mantis are one of my favorite insects. Love their heart shaped heads.
