A singing Kingfisher on the tree

in #photography3 years ago

The Collared kingfisher, also known as the three-toed forest kingfisher, is an Asian kingfisher.

It's a tiny, brightly colored bird.

The length of the body is approximately 16 centimetres.

The kingfisher's back and wings are sky blue, while the belly is bright red.

White spots can be found under the beak and on the sides of the head.

Humans are the primary cause of kingfisher population declines by destroying their natural habitat.

Birds are finding it increasingly difficult to find a forest clean reservoir as a result of his activities. Kingfishers live for around 15 years in the wild.

The art of naming birds is a closely guarded secret. There are some theories as to why this bird's name includes the word "kingfisher."
