Be a Gift to others and to the World

The world faces so many hardship and struggles. Famine, genocides, arm conflict, war, poverty, natural resources deterioration, human trafficking, drugs and illegal substances, financial instability, malnutrition and hunger, poor hygiene and fatal diseases, bursting population, poor governance and relentless corruption, illiteracy and poor education, climate change and global warming, and lastly endless calamities in different forms and types. This are all problems needed to be address, talk about and shouldn’t be ignored at. But sadly humanity have forsaken the value of people and chosen the value of profit.

But never lose hope there are still individuals and small groups who are selflessly sharing their time, presence, attention, respect, love and care for others. They are volunteers who are willing to give what resources they have for those who are in need.

They are sincerely serving the needy, destitute, oppress, abused, neglected and marginalized with non-formal education session, training's, and seminars for adults and youth. While giving supplemental feeding, recreational activities, and literacy interventions to children.

Volunteers doesn’t get paid from what they do but, they are more than happy to receive a “thank you” from their beneficiaries/service receivers. Being acknowledge is a great honor for them but they work even without the lights and camera. They do what they love most even without the eyes of society. For them they want to give back the blessings they have receive from what life offers to them.

Their noble deeds are beyond words description. Some volunteers trek countless hours to serve the community they love most. They cross perilous trails and terrains to deliver the supplies needed in the community. They work overtime when the situation demands for it. They tirelessly extend themselves when circumstances required them to do so.

They are happy to share a portion of their meal with their fellow volunteers and sometimes they give their share to the children for they know the kids needed it the most.The volunteers believe kindness is communicable. As they distribute kindness to others. Kindness touches the hearts of those who receivers and uplift their spirit turning it into goodness and joy.

The greater gift we can offer to others and the world is kindness. If we let kindness rule in our hearts all this hardship, struggles and difficulties will slowly fade away. The gift of kindness will end all wars and battles in this world and return human to its peaceful form and state.

A simple act of kindness change the life of a person, no matter how big or small we offer the kindness you offer it will never go fruitless.
