A Trip To The Holy River Ganga ! Travel #1

Today we traveled in the river Ganga which is not only one of the largest river of India but is also Considered to be sacred and holy. The river is huge, To get a perspective look at the below photo.

I started the journey from the huge banks of Mirzapur. (That is my by the way in the below photo ;)

There are ships, ferry, boats and then there is this open floating thing which is used to hover above water. )Few of my fellow passengers waiting for there drop at the next boat stand)

The river looks so calm, but it ain't there are also dolphins in the river called Ganga dolphins but I didn't have the chance to Witness any. :(

The Dock yard for the boats, Nothing fancy but does the job :)

The river creates a huge delta too.
