3D Landscape Images

A lot of people wouldn't think that beautiful landscapes could be computer generated, but I have to admit, some of these are stunning, and they are all 100% computer generated. I am a 3D animation artist myself, but have never done much landscape work, but these are certainly inspiring.

As a photographer of landscapes, I think these demonstrate quite nicely how artists are able to generate something with a natural appearance and with the help of great computer software nowadays, turn that into something pretty amazing.
I guess if we ever destroy this world so much that there isn't much natural beauty left (which I'm very grateful to say, I think that is a VERY long time off, fortunately), at least we can still generate 3D landscapes to help appease our eyes, right??
I'm pretty impressed by this one, its amazing that its all computer generated.

This one may not be quite as realistic as some, but I've seen some pretty abstract looking mushrooms as photos before, so I thought this fit right in with this list.

Those are pretty cool, and I would love to see them in 3D!!! And those computers even know how to synthesize mushrooms 😉
ya, no kidding! As a 3D artist myself, I know how difficult this kind of detail takes to make, it is very impressive for sure.
