The perfect winter sunset over the snowy fields of Canada

This photo was taken just outside of Ottawa, Canada and is my favourite photo of the week! I love how the image is separated along the horizontal middle, with the stunning reflections of the sun rays on the snow, and the subtle transition of colors in the sky from orange to a deep blue.

The other nice aspect of the photo are the sun rays which draw your eyes to the middle of the image. If you are a photographer and you would like to achieve this look, all you need to do is have the sun in your photo, and increase the aperture or f-stop value up to around f/11-f/16.
