I get the idea of HDR now but I still don't really see the purpose of it. Why not photographers just take an underexposed RAW photo and edit it in post-production into the result of HDR? Is it not possible?
That is of course an option as well especially with newer cameras I do it occasionally but I find that method ends up with a little more noise in the image
Everyone has there own way of doing things I just like the results I get with HDR. But I know it's not for everyone
