Guatape, Colombia
For any of you who have travelled Colombia, you probably found yourself at the small town of Guatape.
It's surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and lakes but the real beauty comes from within the small streets or "Calles".
Walking between the colourful buildings and see the plant hanging down over the people below, it's easy to feel happy here! Life is simple.
I remember walking down this street after taking this photo and seeing a family playing a game of Uno with some old, beaten up cards. They invited me and my friend to join them—which we did. Such a natural and humble experience.

haha Colombia does indeed have a desert! But the desert I am sitting in is in Peru! I just like to end posts with a photo of myself so people can see who is writing it! hahaha
the desert in Colombia is called Tatacoa!
