It rained pretty much all the time. on and off... Kept most people inside^^
I guess you travelled in Vietnam during the rainy season (in Phong Nha you had rain too?)
According to blogs it was supposed to be the best time of the year. November... But typhoons, or at least the outer ring of those hit me all the time^^
