[TOY SPOTLIGHT # 2] NECA Batman 1966 : SUPERB Adam West Sculpting!!
Let us go back when the Caped Crusader was still considered a silly crime-fighter with his trusted boy wonder, Robin.
I am feeling crazy today, and because of that, I will post not just one, but two Toy Spotlights!
For this one, we are looking at Neca’s Batman 1966! A 7-inch figure that captures the retro feels of Adam West’s glorious Batman run!
I got this figure from a Batman collector, he decided to shift into collecting statues, which forced him to sell his action figures. I was fortunate enough to be the first to grab this great steal. The original price of this figure on Amazon ranges from $30-$40. Amazingly, I only got this one for roughly $10-$12.
The figure dons the likeness of Adam West. The details on his face were superb and it feels like the sculpting can be at par with what Hot Toys were doing. The only downside with the figure is that the articulation.
The figure’s articulation limits the toy from having dynamic poses. As a toy photographer, this is a big let-down. Good thing, it can pose as if it is throwing his Batarang. That pose is enough to earn its place a good table display.
Oh well, enough of the talking, here are the crazy photos!!
So what are we waiting for? To the Batcave!
NOW LET'S PLAY A GAME!
I have here an unopened Black Suit Superman. Should I open it or not?
If I can get 20 YES in the comment section, I’ll review the figure! :D
If you are a Batman and an Adam West fan, I encourage you to get this figure! The details are superb enough that I can look pass its flaws in the articulation department.
Did you like this toy spotlight? Leave a comment on how I can improve my photography, and my content.
And if you feel the love, please give this an UPVOTE and a RESTEEM!
Thanks!
