FOLLOW ME INTO THE WOODS 🌲

Last weekend I went to Kirstenbosch Gardens, a gorgeous place full of flowers, trees and plants. It's a really peaceful place to go for a stroll and have a chat with someone in the afternoon. 🌳🌸

It's a really big and beautiful place. You can spend hours walking around and exploring the place with all the forests, glasshouses, markets, and so on. There's also great places to take a picnic all over and a stage to host a concert every so evening where a lot of people gather to enjoy some food, company and music among the tranquil atmosphere of the forests and mountains all around.

There's even a long bridge made of wood that hovers over the garden's where you can walk along and view the trees and lakes below or the vast forests and mountains all around. The mountains look so close to you that it almost feels like the whole garden is gated by the mountains. 🌄

It is called the Canopy Walkway because, as you can see in the picture, the trees are interlinked on the top of the bridge. When you walk on the bridge it wobbles slightly, but it a way you still know the bridge is secure.

Here we are headed to the Enchanted Forest.

It's a great spot to take pictures or take a break and have a picnic beneath the trees. Next time I'd love to catch a concert there and sit on blankets with a bunch of friends or on a date and enjoy the music and atmosphere. 🎻🎵
