Off The Beaten Path - Jords Journal #202
This year I want to get to more remote, harder to travel to places. I love the feeling of finding somewhere that feels untouched, as if you're the only one there with no other tourists around. I haven't had that experience of raw travel in a while and I want to get back to it, starting with Sumatera in a few days time.
We'll be landing into Medan first and then heading down to Lake Toba but no plans further than that. If anyone has any more suggestions for off the beaten track places then please let me know below 👇
I get so much more satisfaction out of travelling to lesser known destinations and finding out things for yourself rather than following the set tourist trail. That's what I want a lot of this year to be about, pushing myself to be outside of my comfort zone, trying new things and discovering new places. First up, Medan.
