普者黑喀斯特国家湿地公园于2011年经国家林业局批准试点建设！2015年被国家林业局列为全国22处重点建设国家湿地公园之一，云南省唯一入选的湿地公园。
它位于丘北县城以北3公里处，属于珠江水系，水源补给主要来自普者黑湖，经清水河和南盘江，最终汇入珠江。普者黑湿地地处滇东南亚热带石灰岩山原地带，湿地与石山峰林融为一体！形成了独特的自然景观和特殊的喀斯特湖泊湿地生态系统，在我国西南部滇黔桂喀斯特地貌中极具代表性。
