A terraced field or a wavy section of land that is constructed along the contour of a hill slope. It is an effective measure to control soil and water loss of slope farmland. The condition of ventilation and light transmission is good, which is beneficial to the growth of crops and the accumulation of nutrients. There are different levels of terraced fields, terraced fields, double terraces and so on. The terrace width depends on the slope of the ground size, thickness, soil tillage, the number of labor and economic conditions, and the drainage system, road traffic unified planning. Terracing should keep up with the topsoil, terraces, deep tillage, organic fertilizer, planting appropriate pioneer crop cultivation measures, in order to accelerate the ripening of soil to improve soil fertility.

Three years ago, I visited such a terrace. Our guide told us to watch the sunset over the mountains ... but the show was on the terraces. So, I photographed the sunset over the mountains!
